Yep–despite the fact that I’ve barely kept up with The Sneaky Mama, I’m starting a new blog. You have to assume then that I have very good fodder for this new blog!
The Sneaky Mama and her troops are moving from the big inner city where we’ve lived for the last 12 years to rural Podunk. It came as quite a shock but after much prayer we’ve come to realize that this is the thing to do.
So this blog is dedicated to my journey of going from happening city girl to small town country girl. (Okay and I confess that I’m not really such a happening city girl–although I do love living in the city.)
Numerous questions hang in the wings. If you’ve ever wanted to know:
What is it like to move into a 900 square foot house with 7 people?
How does a family of 7 flip a house from another state?
How does one go about learning and embracing nature and such? Does this mean I’ll have to start growing vegetables and canning?
This blog will answer all that! So journey with me as we flip our house, figure creative ways to squeeze into it (it was a phenomenal investment), decorate it in country like styel and enjoy using our new yard! I know nothing about country living and so the journey will be eventful I can promise you that!
